Author Biographies

Graham Bash

Graham Bash has been a member of the Party for 38 years, and is currently a member of Hackney North and Stoke Newington CLP.

He was one of the founding members of Labour Left Briefing (then London Labour Briefing) and is the only member of the current editorial board who has been with the magazine for its entire 25 year lifespan.

Following the announcement of the War on Terror in 2001, Graham helped to found Labour Against the War, which continues to be a vocal voice for peace and the defence of civil liberties within the labour movement.

He also serves as Treasurer to the Labour Representation Committee.

Andrew Fisher

Andrew Fisher joined the Labour Party at the tender age of 16 in 1996. He is currently Secretary of his branch in Streatham CLP, and stood as a council candidate in the 2006 local elections – gaining a 7% swing to Labour.

He works as a researcher to the trade union parliamentary groups of the FBU, PCS and RMT, as well as the Socialist Campaign Group of Labour MPs.

He is also a member of the TGWU, on the national committee of the Labour Representation Committee and the editorial board of Labour Left Briefing.

He has a BA and MA in Politics from the University of London.
